Thank you so much for your interest in set design/stage crew.  There is, in fact, a HUGE interest in this class. Because students that will be working backstage during the production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. are drawn out of the set design class and in an attempt to provide an art “audition,” similar to that the students who auditioned for acting parts encountered, we are asking all students that are interested in set design/stage crew to submit the following:

1. Letter  of interest highlighting why you would like to be part of this class and why you think you would be a good candidate for the class.

2. Completion of the “Where in the World” sheet (next page) that draws a scene from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and a description of the background, etc. (this requires searching the story line of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and/or watching the show.)

3. Fill our your name and class information on the Teacher Evaluation form.

 

Please note that Set Design class takes place on Mondays, after school from 3:45-5:00.  Similar to the students performing in the musical, attendance at ALL classes is mandatory.

AUDITION APPLICATIONS ARE DUE MONDAY, DECEMBER 9.  Late submissions will NOT be accepted.
